Death-Haven Hospital is a Silent Hill inspired project that was created in collaboration with other artists in my Prototype Game Production Studio class. In this game, you wake up just after giving birth to your son only to find yourself in an unknown and disturbing environment and your son has gone missing. You get out of your hospital bed to find that the world around you is now distorted and filled with evil creatures. You search the hospital for your newborn son and as you explore you delve deeper into the madness that is Death-Haven Hospital, only to confront a terrifying boss fight at the end of the level.

In this class we all had to pitch different ideas and I was able to pitch this idea along with another project "Delirium" and both of those ideas were chosen as projects to be developed during the semester. I was the project lead on Death-Haven Hospital and I worked together with two 3D Artists to create a list of models that would need to be created for the project. I pitched the ideas, designed level maps and created the level itself as well as the character mechanics, enemies, and overall gameplay design. All models were created by 3D artists and not myself, but the level block-out was created by me. All sound effects were found from Freesound.org.
